New Liverpool chairman confident stars will stay
New Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton insists he sees no reason for the club to make enforced sales this summer despite the likelihood of missing out on Champions League football.
roughton was appointed on Friday as co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett confirmed they have put the club up for sale and it is hoped that a takeover could lead to greater stability.
Martin Broughton's previous role was at British Airways
