Liverpool FC can today unveil it's stylish new home kit for season 2010 - 2012

The adidas strip represents a modern interpretation of the one worn during the triumphant 1989-90 campaign, in which the Reds won title number 18, and is available to pre-order now ahead of the official launch date of May 6, 2010.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard admitted his relief after his fine opening goal set up a 2-0 Premier League win over Wolves on Boxing Day.

Second-half goals from Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun gave nervy Liverpool a victory that was only secured once Wolves had been reduced to 10 men at Anfield.

Steven Gerrard's hotly-disputed second-half penalty rescued a point for Liverpool but did little to lift the pressure on boss Rafael Benitez.

It had started so well for the hosts with youngster David Ngog firing them into an early lead.
